Maya privacy policy

Last updated 1 November 2026. Maya is an AI companion operated by Neubizz. Maya is an AI, not a person, and her replies can be wrong. She is not a substitute for professional advice.

What we collect

• Google account details, if you sign in: your name, email address and profile picture.
• Usage counts: how many times the app was opened, how many replies were made, how long she spoke, and a random device id stored in your browser.
• Reports: the reply you choose to report, with your account if you are signed in.

Your conversations and voice

On supported devices, her voice and understanding your speech happen on your device, after a one-time download of about 330 MB. Otherwise your microphone audio is sent to our server to be turned into text, then discarded. Your words are sent to Google's Gemini API to create her reply, and handled under Google's terms. We do not save the audio or the text of your conversation to a database. Recent conversation and the facts she picks up about you (you can see and remove them under Memories) are kept in your browser, and sent to our server when you connect so she can follow along. They are not saved on the server.

How we use it

To run the app, apply free-use limits, prevent abuse and understand overall usage. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Deleting your data

Open Customize, then choose Delete my account. This removes your account details and sessions, and unlinks your usage counts from you. You can also clear Memories at any time.

Children

Maya is not intended for children under 18.
